PI Paula Rees says "Our primary objective is to develop a series of conference sessions at the June 2013 Conference on Water Systems, Science, and Society under Global Change, sponsored by UCOWR, NIWR, and CUAHSI. We will develop a track  that provides a global view of the challenges and the opportunities for future research, education and extension via presentation of a wide range of forward-looking perspectives on blue, green and grey water issues related to agriculture. The sessions will attempt to summarize the state of our knowledge about the blue/green/gray framework or agricultural water management and identify future research needs and opportunities to improve our ability to manage water within the agricultural domain." Faculty participating in this project are Stephen Herbert, Timothy Randhir, and Craig Nicolson.

The Call for Abstracts is now open for the conference. Submissions are due January 13, 2014
